How to collect dog poop
In the city of Waterloo, in southern Ontario, Canada, a scheme has just been launched to convert dog droppings into energy. “In rural communities, this technique is not new, I’m just bringing it to an urban context,” explains the city’s mayor, Dave Jaworsky.
The bags with the feces are stored in a container underground for 10-14 days, then everything is vacuumed up and taken to a processing plant outside the city, where, along with other organic waste, the process of anaerobic digestion, or the degradation of an organic substance by microorganisms in the absence of oxygen, will take place. At the end of this process, biogas is obtained, which can be burned to produce energy and heat.
The importance of biogas in EuropeBiogas is one of the most widely used alternative sources for the production of renewable energy and the EU includes it among the non-fossil sources that can favor not only energy autonomy, but also the gradual reduction of air pollution and therefore of the greenhouse effect.
How to get my adult dog to potty in one place
Fecal matter, also known as poop, is much more than the end product of digestion. In case you hadn’t thought about it, the forests, jungles and deserts of the world are the toilet of the animals that live there, which, by depositing their waste on the ground, water the seeds of the fruits they consume, placing them in places where, many times, they find the optimal conditions for germination and the establishment of seedlings.
This process, vital for planet Earth, is known as seed dispersal and is extremely important for the conservation of biodiversity, where a network of ecological interactions with many connections is linked, in which vertebrates such as mammals, birds and reptiles in terrestrial environments, as well as fish in rivers, contribute to the regeneration and maintenance of ecosystems.

How do I get my dog to urinate in one place?
Once deposited on the ground, dog poop begins to decompose. The sun and humidity have an effect, solidifying the excrement. It will then become a fine powder that can move anywhere. In this way they are dispersed by wind and rain, contaminating water, air, food and everything in their path.
The problem is that most of these defecations contain parasites or bacteria such as Toxocara canis or Ancylostoma. These are two parasites that inhabit the intestine of dogs but are not so friendly to humans, to whom they can cause diseases.
To combat these dangers, it is enough to take some basic precautions, starting with picking up the feces of our pets always, without exception. They should be deposited in the normal garbage, i.e. in the gray container. In addition, it is advisable to keep the animals properly dewormed and wash our hands after picking up these wastes.
How to make a dog not to go to the bathroom in one place
Feces that are suitable for composting contain green matter that has been digested. So cow feces (a herbivore) can make good natural fertilizer, but dog poop (a carnivore) does not. There are ways in which dog droppings can be used as compost, but this requires special treatment. You can, for example, use a biodegrader or a pet compost garbage can to mix the droppings with an organic matter and bacteria-based preparation that is highly resistant to high temperatures to produce a healthy compost for the garden.
Because it is a disease generator. A medium-sized dog generates about 18 kilos of excrement per month, these are transformed into dust and are incorporated into the air we breathe. Germs from the feces that are disposed of in the open air are introduced into the human organism through breathing or eating food prepared in the street. This can lead to parasite infections and diseases of the digestive system, vision, heart, liver and skin.
