Sewer manhole detail
1.2.1. Drinking water and sewerage home installations shall be executed in accordance with the provisions of the Drinking Water and Sewerage Home Installations Regulations (hereinafter R.I.D.A.A.), approved by MOP Decree No. 50 of January 25, 2002.
1.2.3. The materials used in the domestic potable water and sewerage installations must correspond to those indicated in the list of authorized materials, published periodically by S.I.S.S.
2.2.3. The depth is understood to be measured from the level of the grade indicated in the paving project. These dimensions may vary if the ITO deems it convenient, but always respecting the minimum backfill height; otherwise, the corresponding reinforcements must be designed.
2.2.10. The width at the bottom of the trench has been considered equal to the nominal diameter of the pipe plus 0.60. The excavated bottom must be free of protrusions and allow a firm, stable and uniform support to the pipes in all its extension. When required, it should be deepened in the place of the joints.
The return coefficient (RC) should be estimated based on the analysis of existing information in the locality and/or field measurements made by the service provider. In the absence of field data, a value of 0.85 should be taken.
4. Maximum hourly flow rate. The increase factor used in estimating the maximum hourly flow rate should be calculated using field measurements that take into account the consumption patterns of the population. In the absence of field data, it should be estimated with the approximate equations, taking into account the limitations that may arise in their applicability. This value should be between 1.4 and 3.8.
5. Misconnection flow rate. The contributions due to misconnections must be estimated from the existing information in the locality. In the absence of this information, a maximum value of 0.2 L/s.ha should be used.
In the absence of information, it is accepted that infiltration should be calculated based on a factor of 0.1 L/s ha, applied to the area of sewer infiltration, understood as the area of the streets in the sector benefiting from the system.
