Revocation shall be understood as that change in the certificate status that results in the loss of validity of the certificate based on some circumstance other than its expiration. When we talk about revocation, we will always refer to the definitive and non-reversible loss of validity of the certificate.
Any digital signature made with a revoked certificate will not be valid. Therefore, when validating a signature, always consult the status of the certificate or validate it in the revoked list.

Depending on how the application has been configured, validation may be performed automatically. With cell phones being the main device from which we connect, it is normal that you increasingly need to install certificates not on your PC, but on your mobile. It is a simple process in itself, but it can be confusing if you do not know how to proceed.
On the other hand, there are root certificates, a special type of certificate that identifies the issuing authority (CA, or root certificate authority). This type of certificate grants authority to other sub-certificates, in addition to itself. For this reason, it is either pre-installed in the browser / operating system or you must install it manually.
The first thing you need to do is to install the root certificate of the competent authority. If you want to check first if it is already installed, you can go to Android Security Settings – View Security Certificates to see which ones are currently installed.
The list is long and does not always have a search engine, so you will have to arm yourself with patience to find the CA certificate you are interested in. In my case, the FMNT root certificate is not available on my phone, so I have to download and install it manually.
